Halloween is my favorite holiday. I just love dressing up and being someone different for a night!
Sonsi.com recently reached out to me about their fabulous line of Halloween costumes.
This year, they are offering costumes in fourteen different categories to find just the right costume for you! Costumes are available in sizes 12-28.
Here are some of their great costumes:

One Top, Two Looks
Today, I feature two evening looks featuring the same burgundy chiffon blouse. I love the tunic length and handkerchief hem of this top!
For the first look, I went monochrome with a burgundy faux leather skirt and burgundy heels.
I wouldn't normally wear such a long flowy top over a pencil skirt, but I think it works due to the colors and fabric mix. The only thing I would change is to swap out the black cami for a burgundy one to complete the monochrome look.
I think this is a perfect going-out outfit for early fall. When the weather is still warm, but I'm itching for fall fashion, the burgundy color would give me a fall fashion fix. :-)
In the second look, I paired the top with black skinny tuxedo pants and faux leather jacket with burgundy heels for a more winter-appropriate look.
Pewter accessories and a fun printed box clutch complete the look.
What do you like to wear for the evening?

V-Day Lingerie Picks!
I LOVE love, so even though Valentine's Day is completely overcommercialized, I can't help but get a little excited about a day centered around love and romance.
On occasion, it's nice to put away the oversized t-shirts I usually wear to bed and put on something lacy, frilly, or just outright sexy. Whether you are single or have a significant other this Valentine's Day, wearing something pretty to bed can make you feel special.
If you're into girly, pretty lingerie, I am loving these picks:
Corsets are classic and always super sexy (Hel-loooooooo hourglass!!!) Today's corsets are thankfully much more comfortable than those worn by our Victorian sisters. While I couldn't imagine having to wear one everyday, they are definitely fun on occasion.
Frederick's of Hollywood is more size-friendly than Victoria's Secret and has an excellent selection of lingerie for all tastes and body types. They have some fantastic corsets.
This leopard print corset is so gorgeous!! So classic bombshell!
If you're looking for something simple, classic, and sexy, this black and ivory satin babydoll and matching tap pants is a great pick!
More favorites:
If you prefer something more covered, this white gown is quite elegant:
FYI: Frederick's of Hollywood is having an extra 40% off clearance sale and free shipping upgrades until noon tomorrow.
Lane Bryant is offering 40% off Cacique purchases of $150 or 50% off Cacique purchases of $250 or more.
Hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day!!!

Party Time! Excellent!!!
Today, we had our annual holiday party at work.
I wanted a festive look that was still work-appropriate. That meant no cleavage, no short skirts, etc.
As you may know by now, I love menswear-inspired pieces, especially tuxedo looks.
I chose my velvet skinny pants with this sequined bib-front blouse and tuxedo blazer from my December Wish List. To add more sparkle and feminine glamour, I added a shiny pewter clutch, these pretty vintage-inspired earrings, and patent leather black heels. I also wore this fun ring because you know, what says "holiday" more than a rhinestone gecko? ;-D
I don't get nearly enough chances to wear sparkle, so today was fun!
Do you have any office-related holiday parties to attend? What do you plan on wearing?
